WATCH: After the Fires: Emergency Relief in Maui
SOME THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
• Travel is an issue in that it will require LONG plane rides and multiple airports. All team members must be able to handle that kind of demand.
• Applicants must be physically and temperamentally able to work with one another to accomplish the tasks assigned to us.
• We must be able to work in a team atmosphere where we can divide and conquer tasks and take direction as needed.
• We ALL don’t need building expertise, but we ALL need to be able to work in teams to accomplish our tasks.
OUR MISSION
The wildfires of 2023 brought devastation to communities in Maui Hawaii. Thousands of burned buildings, 102 lives lost, homes, jobs, loved ones, safety, food, a place to be…all gone for hundreds of people.
Puka Naz jumped into action and they are still serving today.
The KY District W&W Mission Team will partner with Pukalani Nazarene Compassion Village to build one of the small homes in their Village that serves as transitional housing.
